Objectives

The main objective of the society are:-

To advance and promote the cause of education and research in Physical Sciences.
To publish research journals, proceedings, transactions and other materilas of standard quality and topical interest.
To organize symposia, discussions, special lectures, exhibitions and such other activities necessary for a better understanding of physical research and its applications for the economic, social and industrial programmes.
To strive for strengthening national co-operation and contacts amongst scientists of the country.
To associate with National and International scientists working in the fields of Physics and to co-operate with other organizations having similar objectives.
